Jeff Halk

Mr-Halks-Pic2

With over a decade of teaching and coaching experience, Jeff Halk is a natural fit for the role of Head Administrator of the Hockey Canada Skills Academy here at St. Joseph’s.

Jeff combines a unique blend of academic, athletic and administrative experience, something that allows him to view our operation from many different perspectives.  As a player himself, and also as a father, he has the further advantage of being able to look at things from the point of view of the students and parents that we serve through our Academy work.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Lakehead University, Jeff currently teaches full-time at St. Joseph’s High School, in Renfrew, Ontario, where he also serves as our Principal’s Designate.

In the community he is the assistant coach for the Atom Wolves hockey team and has coached other levels of hockey as well as soccer and basketball. He currently serves as a coach for Track and Field, Senior Girls’ Basketball and Varsity Boys’ Hockey for our high school teams.

For information regarding our program, and your possible participation in it, please don’t hesitate to contact Jeff.

He’d be delighted to talk hockey with you!
