Meghan Cahill is the Head Off-Ice Instructor for the Hockey Canada Skills Academy at St. Joseph’s High School since 2012. She has also served as a coach for the school’s Girls’ Varsity Hockey Team. As a physical education teacher, Meghan brings with her a nice balance of playing/coaching experience, and combines it with an enthusiasm that tends to spread to those around her.
Starting out in Boys’ House League Hockey, Meghan progressed to playing at the Competitive “B” Women’s Hockey level with the Ottawa Valley Thunder, and continues to enjoy the sport as a player, along with several other athletic activities as well. A graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, Meghan is currently involved as a coach of boys and girls volleyball, badminton, soccer, and track and field in addition to her hockey duties. As well, she is currently serving as coach of the Renfrew Gymnastics Program and was a past Head Instructor and Organizer.
